Thief Trying to Escape Gets Caught in Dramatic Pole Incident
A dramatic incident unfolded in Ghana after a suspected thief attempted an unusual escape by climbing a tall electric utility pole. The suspect, reportedly caught in the act of stealing, seemed to think the pole would allow him to evade capture.
However, his plan quickly failed when a courageous community member, reportedly climbing barefoot, scaled the pole and grabbed the suspect’s leg, bringing him back down despite his frantic struggle.
Once on the ground, the suspect was confronted by a crowd of residents, who expressed their anger through physical action using sticks and branches, while bystanders, including men, women, and children, watched in shock.
The video captures the intensity of vigilantism in some communities, showing the lengths ordinary citizens will go to confront crime. Viewer discretion is advised as the clip contains scenes of violence.
