Thuggery Ring Dismantled: Gundura and 14 Others Arrested in Kano
In a major crackdown on thuggery in Kano State, local police have arrested notorious criminal Inuwa Zakari, known as Gundura, along with 14 other suspects accused of terrorizing the region.
Gundura, 24, was at the top of the police’s wanted list and is believed to have played a significant role in several violent incidents, including an assault on a Vigilante Commander that left the victim with severe injuries, as well as vandalizing a police vehicle.
The arrests took place during targeted operations conducted from October 25 to 27, following orders from Commissioner of Police Salman Dogo Garba aimed at addressing rising thuggery.
