Tinubu’s Second Term Uncertain as ADC Coalition Gains Momentum – Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, spiritual leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has cautioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu against assuming his re-election bid in 2027 is guaranteed.
Speaking during the launch of the 31st edition of his annual prophecy publication, Warnings to the Nations (2025/2026), on Saturday, Ayodele highlighted growing political threats to the president’s second-term ambitions. He warned that underestimating the opposition could cost the All Progressives Congress (APC) dearly.
According to the prophetic insights documented in the book—compiled in April 2025—Ayodele suggested that the coalition, now aligning with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), could pose a serious challenge to the ruling party if decisive action is not taken.
“If the president believes solely in his own influence and strength, the coalition could spring unexpected outcomes. The 2027 election will be more complex than anticipated. He needs to respond swiftly and decisively,” he warned.
Ayodele also advised Tinubu to pay closer attention to internal dynamics within the APC. He expressed skepticism about new entrants into the party, claiming many may not have the president’s best interests at heart.
“He should not be misled by the crowds joining his party. Many are not allies but potential betrayers. There are hidden agendas and internal forces working against the ruling party,” the cleric said.
Ayodele further cautioned about key vulnerabilities that could be exploited to destabilize the current administration. He identified six critical areas—security, the economy, ethnic tensions, energy, state creation, and youth employment—as potential flashpoints that could define the outcome of the next election cycle.
On the opposition front, the prophet described the emerging coalition under the ADC banner as divinely inspired, suggesting it has a strong spiritual backing. “Only a supernatural disruption could disband this coalition. It is not ordinary—it’s divinely orchestrated. President Tinubu must prepare for a formidable contest,” he said.
