Tonto Dikeh Detained by Police Over Theft, Cyberbullying, and Forgery Allegations

The Nigeria Police Force has detained actress Tonto Dikeh for questioning regarding allegations of theft, forgery, criminal defamation, cyberbullying, and falsehoods directed at her former husband, Olakunle Churchill.

Sources reveal that Tonto Dikeh visited the police headquarters in Abuja to address these allegations and clarify her earlier claims against her ex-husband. During the investigation, she admitted that the accusations she made were inaccurate, including those related to cyberbullying and criminal conversion.
Tonto had previously claimed ownership of a ₦22 million Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, presenting forged documents to assert that the vehicle belonged to her rather than her ex-husband. It was later confirmed that the vehicle’s original documents and receipts were in her ex-husband’s name.
Regarding the cyberbullying accusations, she conceded that her claims about her ex-husband being a cybercriminal or “Yahoo boy” were baseless.
Following several rounds of questioning and investigations, the police have released Tonto Dikeh on bail.
This development coincides with allegations from Skyewise Autos, which accuses Tonto Dikeh of failing to pay for a vehicle she purchased on credit, with outstanding payments yet to be settled according to the agreed terms.
