Tragedy in Edo: Five Young People Found Dead in a Room

In a shocking incident, five individuals—a group of four boys and one girl—were found dead in a room in the Afashio community, Uzairue, within the Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.
Sources indicate that the victims, two of whom were brothers, were discovered under suspicious circumstances by family members who became concerned when they did not emerge from the room.
The bodies were located when a family member went to check on them. SP Moses Yamu, the Public Relations Officer for the Edo State Police Command, confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.
Community insiders are speculating that food poisoning may be a factor, noting that there were no visible signs of violence or injury on the deceased. The matter has been reported to the Jattu Police Division as the family seeks answers about this tragic loss.
