Tragic Loss: Akwa Ibom’s First Lady, Patience Umo Eno, Passes Away

The First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno, has sadly passed away at the age of 57. She died peacefully in a hospital on Thursday, surrounded by her family after a short illness.

This news was confirmed early Friday by Comrade Ini Ememobong, the state Commissioner for Information. In a statement, he said, “The family accepts the will of the Almighty and seeks the prayers and support of compassionate individuals during this challenging time.” He also mentioned that more information would be shared by the family as needed.
The family has requested privacy while they grieve the loss of their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
Governor Umo Eno expressed gratitude to all who have supported the first family during this time and assured citizens that, despite this profound personal loss, his dedication to serving the state remains strong.
