Troops Eliminate Two Infamous Bandit Leaders, Ma’oli and Kachalla Muchelli, in North West Operations

Nigerian military forces under Operation Fansan Yamma have successfully eliminated two prominent bandit leaders in Katsina and Zamfara States, intensifying their offensive against armed groups in the North West region.
In Katsina State, troops executed a well-coordinated operation in Mai Sheka village, located in Kunchin Kalgo town, where they killed several bandits, including the infamous Alhaji Ma’oli. According to security experts, Ma’oli had been notorious for extorting local communities in areas such as Unguwan Rogo, Mai Sheka, Magazawa, Unguwar Dan Halima, Unguwar Dan Mairo, and Katangan Yamma.
In a related development in Zamfara State, the Counter Terrorism Team 7 (CT 7), while conducting a patrol along the Bilbis-Danjigba route in Tsafe Local Government Area, engaged bandits on December 25. During the encounter, Kachalla Muchelli, the notorious leader of the Kuchi Kalgo camp, was killed.
Military sources confirmed that these actions are part of a larger strategy aimed at dismantling banditry and terrorism in the region.
