Two siblings d*e after fence from a neighboring compound collapsed into their home
FCGs reports that two siblings identified as Rakib and Mujib Atolagbe have been confirmed dead after the fence of a neighbouring building collapsed on their house at Alao Street, Isawo, in the Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos state, Nigeria on Saturday, July 22.
The fence gave way during the heavy downpour that happened in the state. The bodies of the two siblings aged 9 and 7, were recovered after hours of being trapped in debris amidst rescue efforts by residents of the area.
The spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, South-West, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the incident in a statement released.
