Us-based Nigerian Man Shows Sleeping ‘box’ Costing $80/8hrs
A Nigerian man living in the US has highlighted the difficulties of finding affordable accommodation in America. He shared his experience from several years ago when he had to pay $80 to sleep in a small “pod-like box” for just 8 hours a day. After this period, he would have to vacate the space to allow another person with a reservation to use it. For the rest of the day, he had no place to stay.
He posted pictures of these sleeping pods, which are small, enclosed spaces with only enough room for a narrow mattress. The pods are basic, lacking amenities like fans or other comforts necessary for a restful sleep.
