VeryDarkMan Silent as Governors Adeleke and Sanwo-Olu Host Only Yoruba Falcons But Blast Gov. Uzodimma

A recent post on Nairaland spotlighted a controversy stirred by social media commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM), who criticized Governor Hope Uzodimma for hosting only Igbo players from the Super Falcons squad.

Interestingly, pictures have now emerged showing Governors Ademola Adeleke of Osun and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos warmly receiving only the Yoruba players from the same national team. Yet, VDM has remained silent — no video, no outrage, no ring light.

This contrast has sparked questions among observers: Why call out one governor and ignore the others doing the same thing? What was the goal behind VDM’s video on Uzodimma, and what exactly did he intend to achieve?
It raises broader concerns about fairness and consistency. If selective recognition of players by ethnicity is wrong, shouldn’t that standard apply across the board?
