Victor Osimhen Joins Galatasaray on Loan; See Annual Salary and Jersey Number

Victor Osimhen has completed a season-long loan transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray, concluding a lengthy transfer process. The Nigerian striker will earn a net salary of €6,000,000 (exceeding N10 billion) per year and will don the jersey number 45.

Galatasaray announced the loan deal on Wednesday, revealing that they had reached an agreement with Napoli for the temporary transfer of Osimhen at no additional cost. The club confirmed that Osimhen will receive a net salary of €6,000,000 for the 2024-2025 season.

The arrangement also includes an option for Napoli to extend Osimhen’s contract until 2027.

Upon his arrival in Istanbul, Osimhen was warmly welcomed by thousands of Galatasaray fans. His transfer, which had been the subject of much speculation throughout the summer, saw interest from prominent clubs such as Chelsea, PSG, and Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli before he ultimately chose Galatasaray.

This move to the Istanbul-based club, known for its history of signing Nigerian players like Henry Onyekuru and Oghenekaro Etebo, marks an exciting new phase in Osimhen’s career. He will be eager to make a significant impact at his new club.
