The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently responding to a fire at Radio Nigeria’s headquarters located on Plot No. 35, Ikoyi Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The agency was notified at approximately 5:30 PM and dispatched teams from Dolphin, Ebute Elefun, and Oba Onitun Fire Stations. Upon arrival, firefighters found the blaze fully involved, largely due to the materials present in the studio area.

Fortunately, thanks to coordinated efforts with the Federal Fire Service, as well as support from other emergency agencies, including the @PoliceNG, the fire has been contained within the studio section of the building. The situation is now under control.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and, at this time, no injuries have been reported. Fire crews are continuing to work on extinguishing remaining hotspots. Further updates will be provided as the situation pro

gresses.
