WAEC releases 2024 WASSCE results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates . Here are some key highlights from the results:
– 1,814,736 candidates registered for the examination from 25,126 recognized secondary schools in the country .
– 1,685,889 candidates, representing 93.39%, have their results fully processed and released .
– 119,327 candidates, representing 6.61%, have one or more of their subjects still being processed due to some issues being resolved .
– 215,267 results are being withheld due to reported examination malpractices .
– 1,332,089 candidates, representing 73.79%, obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five subjects .
– 1,301,941 candidates, representing 72.12%, obtained credits and above in a minimum of five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics .

To check their results, candidates can visit (link unavailable) or use the SMS method by sending their WAEC Examination Number, PIN, and Exam Year to 32327 (available only for MTN, Glo, and Airtel subscribers) .
