A Nigerian social media user, Ife Salako, recently criticized Wole Soyinka for his verbal attacks on the Labour Party’s 2023 Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi.
In a 4-minute video, Salako, an ardent supporter of Obi, highlighted the perceived hypocrisy in Soyinka’s statements. He pointed out the ‘physically aggressive’ and ‘criminally minded’ individuals who also support the professor.
Salako also delved into Soyinka’s past, noting his own dissatisfaction with Nigeria in his youth and his involvement in the early stages of cultism in the country. He suggested that Soyinka’s age might be influencing his ‘juvenile’ approach to contemporary issues and urged him not to contribute to further decline in the country.
