Wike Mocks Opposition, Says Tunji-Ojo Did Better Than Aregbesola

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has taken a swipe at the recently formed opposition coalition aiming to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.

Wike questioned the credibility and performance of figures within the coalition, suggesting that Nigerians should evaluate the track records of former Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola against that of the current officeholder, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
By drawing this comparison, Wike appeared to mock the coalition’s relevance and leadership, signaling skepticism about its ability to pose a serious challenge to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next general election.
