Yusuf Datti Affirms Unbreakable Bond with Peter Obi
Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, who served as the vice-presidential candidate alongside Peter Obi in the 2023 election, has addressed recent rumors suggesting a rift between him and Obi. Speaking with reporters, Datti firmly denied any discord between them.
He emphasized that their relationship is solid, saying it would be easier to crack the leadership of the APC than to create a division between himself and Peter Obi.
This statement aims to put to rest speculation about Datti distancing himself from Obi, including rumors about his attendance at Julius Abure’s NEC meeting being a sign of personal ambitions for the 2027 presidential race.
