2 Men Arrested For Stealing Government’s Diesel In Ekiti State
FCG reports that on 20/06/2023 at about 1830hrs, the Command Rapid Response Squad (RRS), while on patrol along NTA Road, Ado Ekiti, arrested one Joseph Danjuma with a 25litres jerrycan containing diesel suspected to have been stolen.
FCG learnt that during interrogation, the suspect confessed to have stolen the diesel from the government generator plant located along NTA road powering the street lights in Ado metropolis.
The suspect confessed to have been stealing diesel from the generator plant and mentioned one Bankole Idowu who was subsequently arrested as his partner in the crime.
The two(2) suspects will be arraigned accordingly.
