How Woman and Her Two Daughters were Fatally Stabbed
Authorities have apprehended a suspect linked to the brutal murders of Alberta Armah Hagan and her two daughters at their residence in Net Link Estate, Kasoa, located in Ghana’s Central Region.
The suspect, reportedly the deceased’s boyfriend, is thought to have perpetrated the crime following a dispute over mobile money transfers.
It is alleged that Alberta recently filed a police report accusing her boyfriend of unlawfully transferring GH¢20,000 sent by her ex-husband in the US for their daughters.
To avoid repercussions from this complaint, investigators believe the suspect resorted to killing Alberta and her daughters.
This week, Alberta and her daughters were found dead, each with multiple stab wounds. The attack also left two more of Alberta’s children, a 9-month-old infant and a 6-year-old boy, severely injured.
The 6-year-old is in critical condition under police protection in the hospital, while the 9-month-old is also receiving medical treatment.
Police have initiated an extensive investigation to uncover all aspects of the crime and any further motives involved.
