In a recent statement, Mohbad’s father revealed that he believes his son was benefiting from his own success. He recounted how Wunmi’s pastor informed her that it was his glory that Mohbad was leveraging. Despite his financial success, Mohbad did not provide for his father, choosing instead to give millions to his mother. His father was astonished when he discovered that Mohbad had rented three shops for her, each worth a significant sum.
“How could he manage shops worth millions when he had never even maintained a shop worth 500k?” Mohbad’s father questioned. He noted that Mohbad’s mother, who received all the money, was not involved in her son’s life to the extent of knowing his school friends or the schools he attended. “But where is all that money now?” he asked rhetorically.
He also mentioned that Wunmi had left the house in anger for three days after reading text messages on Mohbad’s phone.
