How Police Found Missing Abuja Nurse

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has successfully located Lucy Likeh, a 28-year-old nurse based in Abuja, who had recently disappeared. This information was confirmed by FCG

According to our correspondent, the Utako Police Division in Abuja found Ms. Likeh and transported her to a hospital for a medical check-up. Her family had previously reported her missing to the same police division.

The news was shared by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, during an exclusive interview. SP Adeh stated, “Lucy Likeh has been found and taken to the hospital by the Utako Police Division where her family had earlier reported her missing. Further details will be provided later. We remain proactive and encourage the public to trust the police with information.”

Shadrach Obi, Likeh’s brother-in-law, also confirmed her recovery, noting that she is currently receiving medical care. “It feels like a miracle. She is very weak and has not yet been able to explain what happened to her,” Obi said.

Prior reports indicated that Likeh had gone missing after visiting Zuba Motor Park in the FCT to send a parcel to a friend in Minna, Niger state. Employed by a private organization at MKK Plaza in Jabi, Abuja, she was last seen wearing a black tracksuit, a black and white chiffon shirt, and a fez cap.

Her disappearance was widely shared on social media, with Phil Smart posting a missing person alert on Facebook. According to Smart’s post, Likeh had communicated with her sister on Friday evening, informing her that she would be sending a parcel to Minna after work. When her family couldn’t reach her and her phone remained switched off, they reported her missing to the police at both Utako and Zuba stations.
