Executive Bill on Minimum Wage to be Presented to National Assembly, Announces President Tinubu
President Bola Tinubu has revealed that the National Assembly will soon receive an Executive Bill aimed at formalizing the recent agreement between the federal government and organized labor unions.
During a live Democracy Day broadcast on NTA on Wednesday, Tinubu highlighted that this legislation will enshrine the agreed-upon terms for the next five years or less.
“We have engaged in sincere and open negotiations with organized labor on a new national minimum wage. An executive bill will soon be sent to the National Assembly to incorporate this agreement into our law for the next five years or less,” President Tinubu declared.
