Onanuga Challenges Obi to Take an Active Role in Protests

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, has urged former presidential candidate Peter Obi to stop being an indirect influencer and instead take a visible leadership role in the upcoming protests.
In a recent tweet, Onanuga emphasized that since Obi has publicly endorsed the protest organized by his supporters, he should follow the example set by President Bola Tinubu and former President Muhammadu Buhari by stepping forward to lead the demonstrations himself. Onanuga believes that true leadership involves being at the forefront and helping to manage the protest’s direction and potential excesses.
