Franklin Okwonna and Ebuka Umeti, Nigerian nationals, have been sentenced by a U.S. federal court in connection with a major wire fraud operation.
Okwonna was sentenced to five years in prison, while Umeti received a ten-year sentence. The fraud scheme orchestrated by the defendants resulted in losses exceeding $5 million for the victims.
