Remi Tinubu: “My Husband is Committed to Nigeria’s Progress, Not Greed”

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has affirmed that her husband, President Bola Tinubu, is not driven by greed but is dedicated to making Nigeria thrive once again.
During her visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, at his palace in Ile-Ife, she spoke about the commissioning of the 2.7-kilometre Oluremi Tinubu Way and Pavilion at Obafemi Awolowo University. She emphasized that the President is focused on the nation’s advancement.
Acknowledging the removal of fuel subsidies, Mrs. Tinubu expressed optimism, stating, “With God’s guidance, in the next two years, Nigeria will rise to new heights. Those who tried to remove subsidies before were unable to succeed, but with your prayers, we will build a better future.”
She continued, “We are grateful for our blessings; neither my husband nor I are greedy. It’s rare for affluent individuals to reach this position, and we are thankful to God for our journey. We are committed to not disappointing Nigerians and, with divine assistance, we will reach the promised landsoon.”
