Woman Finds Out Husband Married Another Wife Through Facebook After Having Three Kids Together

In a deeply emotional revelation that has captured the internet’s attention, a Nigerian woman has shared how she discovered — through Facebook — that her husband had secretly married another woman, despite already having three children with her.
The story, which has gone viral on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), was shared in a video where the woman recounted years of betrayal, silence, and heartbreak.
According to her, she had been legally married for several years, but never felt accepted by her husband’s family, particularly his mother. The reason? She’s from Anambra State, while her husband is from Enugu — a cultural divide that the mother-in-law reportedly never approved of.
> “His mother was against our union from day one,” the woman said. “She once sent messages threatening that I would die if I didn’t leave her son.”
Despite the hostility, she stayed in the marriage, hoping things would improve. Instead, she described a home filled with emotional distance.
> “We lived under the same roof for an entire year without speaking to each other. He became a stranger in our own home,” she added.
Suspicion grew when her husband returned from a trip with a young woman who began staying close to him. When she asked about the girl, his mother casually claimed she was just a neighbor’s daughter.
Later in 2021, during a visit to their hometown, the same woman was seen bonding with her children — even braiding her daughter’s hair. The situation became undeniable in 2022 when the wife came across wedding photos of her husband and the same young woman — on Facebook.
> “He never told me anything. I just saw the pictures online. That’s how I found out he married her,” she said.
Now raising her three children alone in Abuja, the woman says the pain and betrayal have taken a serious toll on her.
“I’m just 40, but I feel like
I look 65,” she concluded.
