See Reasons FG Urges Nigerians Abroad to Return Home

The Federal Government has called on Nigerians living overseas to come back home and play an active role in shaping a better future for the country.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), made this appeal during the 12th Convocation Lecture at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, on Saturday. She emphasized the importance of every Nigerian returning to contribute to the nation’s development.
Dabiri-Erewa highlighted that the valuable experiences gained by Nigerians abroad are essential for addressing the socioeconomic challenges facing Nigeria. She noted that these insights could provide effective solutions to help propel the country’s growth.
Additionally, she mentioned that NIDCOM is actively working to establish frameworks that facilitate the engagement of the diaspora in national development initiatives.
