South Africans Respond to Chidimma Adetshina’s Citizenship Revocation

Many South Africans expressed their satisfaction on the Eyewitness News social media platform regarding the announcement of Chidimma Adetshina and her mother losing their South African citizenship. Some users raised concerns about the status of her father, who has Nigerian roots.

Calls for action have intensified, with many demanding the arrest of all individuals involved, including government officials allegedly linked to the issuance of documents under investigation for identity fraud.
Chidimma, who was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, was born in South Africa to a mother from Mozambique who later obtained South African citizenship.
