Key Agreements Signed Between President Tinubu and Indian Prime Minister

1. Economic and Trade Collaboration: – Both leaders finalized key agreements, including the Economic Cooperation Agreement (ECA), Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA), and the Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT), aimed at enhancing trade and investment between Nigeria and India.
2. Infrastructure Development: – India pledged support for Nigeria’s infrastructure growth by offering concessional Lines of Credit and providing technical expertise to help advance the country’s development projects.

4. Counterterrorism Efforts: – Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism within the UN framework, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and accelerating the implementation of relevant UN General Assembly (UNGA) and UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions aimed at combating terrorism and violent extremism.
