5 Years at LASU, Now Selling Zobo: A Graduate’s Regretful Journey

A Nigerian graduate has expressed regret over spending five years at Lagos State University (LASU), only to end up selling zobo. She took to her TikTok page to share her story, revealing that despite dedicating half a decade to her education, she now makes a living as a zobo vendor. In her video, she reflected on her journey, stating, “If I had known I would be selling zobo, I wouldn’t have wasted five years of my life at LASU.”

The video has since drawn numerous reactions from viewers:

@gbemmy_cakes remarked: “Education is never a waste. There’s no comparison between you and a roadside zobo seller.”

@Gozi Oleks inquired: “What course did you study? Can you defend your degree?”

@Lily🤪🥰 commented: “Please don’t scare me, I’m also a fresh graduate from LASU!”
