Osun 2026: Momentum Builds for Oyebamiji as Thousands Join AMBO Digital Campaign Movement
…Over 3000 Digital Media Influencers Ready To Promote Oyebamiji’s Aspiration
In a development towards actualizing the emergence of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun, no fewer than 3000 digital media handlers and influencers across the state have declared their readiness to support and promote Oyebamiji’s aspiration to become the APC candidate and subsequently the next Osun State Governor come 2026.
The frontline digital media team under the aegis of AMBO Media Front, AMF, at an inaugural physical meeting held on Sunday at Ilerioluwa Campaign Office, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo officially unveiled the sociopolitical platform to ensure the actualization of AMBO project.
The AMBO promoters on digital media also declared their unflinching support and commitment to promoting and defending Oyebamiji’s candidature in the new media as part of efforts to further register in the people’s minds the qualities and track records of Oyebamiji.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr Adebayo Adedeji, a journalist and digital media professional, commended the volunteers of the group who came out publicly to work for Oyebamiji’s political ambition, explaining that members of the team drawn across the 30 Local Governments including the Ife-East Area Office, Modakeke, have taken a right decision, urging them to put in their very best towards the actualization of the set goal.
“I want to congratulate everyone of us for being part of this progressive front dedicated to AMBO’s project. Our task is simple but strategic as we are resolute to ensure the emergence of our man in person of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, AMBO in the next governorship election. Thank God, we are proud of our choice. We have a man who is competent and equally has a good character. He is humble, accessible and friendly. He is well loved in the party just as his credentials are lofty and marketable to the electorate. He’s indeed the right man for the job going by his untainted track-records, humility, integrity, accountability and of course transparency and high sense of professionalism.
“We have a man who doesn’t need padding to promote him. He’s indeed people’s choice and a man of prudence, probity and capacity whose financial expertise salvaged the state from the modulated salary (half-salary) regime shortly after he became Commissioner. So, let’s begin to spread the gospel across the nooks and crannies of the state as digital media handlers”, he said.
Similarly, former Senior Special Assistant to erstwhile Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Political Matters, Hon. Funso Fagbohungbe, charged the media volunteers to be more dedicated and committed to the cause, harping on 100 percent loyalty.
“We were carefully selected to be part of this team and it is incumbent on us to deliver since we have a sellable and marketable product in person of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. We shouldn’t be distracted by whatever antics coming from any side. Let’s remain focused and dedicated as we are ready to provide structured and highly coordinated leadership to ensure quality service delivery”, he added.
Corroborating the statements, former Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists in Osun State, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji, assured the participants of quality coordination for better media engagement just as he tasked them to always abide by the rules of engagement as performance would be measured on merit.
In their separate remarks, Prince Sesan Opadoyin and Hon. Mustapha Olaide (Olipha), commended the volunteers for their beliefs in AMBO’s project, encouraging them not to relent on their oars towards achieving the collective goal.
Speaking in turns, the digital media volunteers assured the leadership of the readiness to give in their best in promoting AMBO’s project in their respective domains.
