PDP Leadership, Not Wike, Responsible for Ongoing Party Crisis – Suswam (Video)

Former Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam, has pointed fingers at the top leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), holding them accountable for the prolonged internal turmoil plaguing the party.

Speaking during a televised interview earlier today, Suswam criticized the PDP hierarchy for conducting behind-the-scenes meetings with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, without the involvement or consent of key party stakeholders.

He argued that Wike should not be blamed for pulling out of any previously reached agreements, as the fault lies with party leaders who failed to ensure transparency and inclusiveness in their dealings.
“The leadership failed to carry everyone along,” Suswam stated, implying that such exclusionary tactics have only deepened divisions within the party. He maintained that Wike’s decision to withdraw from reconciliation efforts was a consequence of that lack of trust and openness.
