Chairman of Gombe PDP Reconciliation Committee Resigns, Joins ADC (Photos)

I hereby announce my resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), effective immediately. This decision follows extensive personal reflection and consultation with key stakeholders. I believe it is time to pursue my political aspirations through a new platform — the African Democratic Congress (ADC) — where I aim to make a more meaningful impact in promoting democratic ideals and good governance for national development.
My journey with the PDP has been deeply enriching. I had the opportunity to vie for the party’s 2023 gubernatorial ticket, finishing third in the primaries — an experience that significantly shaped my perspective on party politics and grassroots engagement.
I also had the privilege of chairing the Gombe State PDP Reconciliation Committee, working with dedicated party members to foster unity and strengthen internal cohesion. These roles, along with the encouragement and support I received — especially from Pantami Ward — will always hold a special place in my political story.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the PDP leadership and its members for the trust and collaboration we’ve shared over the years. I wish the party continued success in all its future pursuits.
Please consider this resignation a gesture of respect and gratitude. I also ask that my appreciation be communicated to the ward executives and all members.
