PDP Leader Claimed Adeleke Sent Him To Enlighten Members On How Party Internal Crisis Drove Him Out Of PDP To APC

A prominent leader within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has disclosed that he was delegated by Adedancer to engage with party members regarding an urgent political realignment. The purpose of his outreach, he explained, was to sensitize members on the necessity of transitioning to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and to seek their counsel on the matter.
According to the party chieftain, the internal crisis plaguing the PDP at the national level has made continued affiliation untenable. He cited the contentious issue of dual leadership—where the individual recognized as National Secretary by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) differs from the one acknowledged by the party—as a critical concern. He warned that such unresolved discrepancies could lead to political setbacks similar to those previously experienced by the APC in Zamfara State.
Describing the current situation as a “double-edged crisis,” he acknowledged the mounting challenges facing the faction. In light of these developments, he appealed to the few remaining loyalists to consider the difficult circumstances and lend their support during this transitional period.
