41-Year-Old Woman Found Dead inside Church in Ogun

A 41-year-old woman was discovered lifeless inside the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Prayer City auditorium, located on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, in what is being treated as a suspected suicide.
The incident happened on Friday morning.
The woman, identified as Benita Lurk Ikuenobe, was found unconscious in the main worship hall. The church’s Chief Security Officer, Esiere Ekikere, reported that he received an urgent call around 7:20 a.m. about a woman lying unresponsive on the floor.
When Ekikere arrived, he found her motionless, with an empty bottle of a suspected poisonous substance—thought to be Sniper—nearby. The matter was quickly reported to the police.
Police officers responded promptly, carrying out initial investigations and taking photographs of the scene as part of their inquiry.
The woman’s body was taken to Real Divine Hospital morgue, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Authorities have begun a formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
