Pure Falsehood’: AMBO Media Clears Air on Ikire Prayer Event Death Rumours

The AMBO Media Fronts has debunked a grossly malicious statement signed by a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke, which is now being heavily circulated by other officials of the state government, alleging that three people were feared dead in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State, during an end-of-year prayer session sponsored by our principal and Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2026 gubernatorial election, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
AMBO Media states that no fatality was recorded, either at Oyebamiji’s residence or at the venue of the prayer session.
The annual event, facilitated by a faith-based organization, has become a rallying point where Muslim faithful appreciate the Almighty God for His blessings in the outgoing year and seek His favour and guidance in the new year.
This yearly event has, for the last 10 years, been sponsored by Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO). Like previous editions, this year’s event recorded huge success, as many faithful, friends, and associates of AMBO, as well as indigenes of Ikire and its environs, trooped out to honour the occasion with their presence.
It is saddening that officials of the Osun State Government, pained by the massive turnout of citizens and the overwhelming success of the event, are now casting aspersions on the credibility of a simple and innocuous spiritual activity and colouring it with insane politics.
No Propaganda can destroy the good image of AMBO as the name is now engraved in the mind and consciousness of Osun people.
We appeal to members of the public to disregard these outright destructive lies being peddled by scoundrels and characters afraid of a debilitating defeat at the polls next year.
AMBO has been wrongly accused and legal measures are now underway to clear his name and expose the fakery designed to tarnish his reputation and mislead the public.
