𝗢𝘀𝘂𝗻 𝗔𝗣𝗖 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗣𝗖 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
In a significant demonstration of unity, coordination, and strategic alignment, the Osun State APC Campaign Council, under the leadership of its Director-General, Hon. Oluwole Oke, convened a high-level breakfast meeting with the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Sen. Ajibola Basiru, at his residence.
The meeting, which brought together key leaders and stakeholders of the party in Osun State, underscored the strategic importance of consultation, cohesion, and experienced guidance as the Council intensifies preparations toward the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Oluwole Oke expressed profound appreciation to the National Secretary for hosting the Council and for the confidence reposed in its members. He noted that the visit was not only a gesture of respect but a deliberate move to seek direction, support, and prayers necessary to successfully deliver on the mandate entrusted to the Council.
“We are here to seek your guidance and blessings as we undertake this critical assignment. We are mindful of the responsibility placed on us and remain committed to delivering victory for our great party,” he stated.
In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye commended Sen. Basiru for his exemplary leadership at the national level, noting that his stewardship continues to bring pride and strength to the party. He emphasized the pivotal role of the National Secretary in providing strategic backing for the Council’s success, urging sustained guidance and engagement throughout the campaign period.
Similarly, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello expressed gratitude for the National Secretary’s consistent support and empowerment initiatives, offering prayers for his continued leadership and contributions toward the party’s growth and electoral success.
Reaffirming the Council’s confidence in the National Secretary’s capacity, Hon. Oluwole Oke highlighted his vast experience and strategic influence within the party, calling for his full support in mobilizing the necessary resources and structures required to secure victory.
In his response, Sen. Ajibola Basiru engaged members of the Council in a candid and insightful session, stressing the need for unity of purpose, disciplined coordination, and robust grassroots engagement. He charged the Council to intensify its efforts, deploy effective strategies, and prioritize community-based mobilization in driving the campaign forward.
The National Secretary further urged all party stakeholders to set aside personal ambitions and rally behind the collective goal of securing victory for the APC gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. He emphasized that the forthcoming election represents a shared responsibility and a defining moment for the party in Osun State.
The engagement concluded with closing remarks and prayers offered by Prince Femi Kujembola, who expressed optimism for a successful outing at the polls.
The meeting was attended by prominent members of the Campaign Council and party leadership, including Prince Thomas Ogungbangbe, Prince Adeleke Banik, Akintunde Adegboye, Comrade Oyebade Adegboyega, Alhaji Hasifa Akinola, Hon.
