Renowned Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold, has expressed his gratitude to rapper Olamide on social media for the significant boost he received in his career by being welcomed into the YBNL music label.Â
Olamide established YBNL in 2012 following the release of his second studio album, ‘YBNL.’ Adekunle Gold joined the label in 2015 and released his debut album, ‘Gold,’ during his time there. He left the label after his contract ended.
In a post on X, Adekunle Gold shared the cover of his debut album and thanked Olamide for the pivotal role he played in his career development. He wrote, “Thank you @olamide for giving that young graphic designer the chance to not only design the YBNL logo but to be a part of your family.”
