Aliko Dangote Hails President Tinubu’s Leadership in Rare Open Letter

Aliko Dangote
In an uncommon but powerful gesture, Africa’s wealthiest man, Aliko Dangote, has penned an open letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, praising his bold and progressive approach to governance.

Dangote highlighted Tinubu’s efforts in tackling environmental challenges, particularly the control of ocean surges and flooding in the Victoria Island axis. He also acknowledged the president’s commitment to infrastructure development, including the ambitious construction of the Lagos-Calabar and Sokoto-Badagry superhighways, as well as the establishment of a new Atlantic city.
The message, published as a full-page newspaper advert, served as a sincere appraisal of the president’s performance so far—standing in contrast to criticisms from opposition voices who argue that Tinubu’s administration has achieved little in the past two years.
