Arobo Campaign Warns Against Fake Statements, Says Only Official Channel Valid

The Ghani Rotimi Arobo Campaign Organisation (#GRA4MHR) has disowned unauthorised communications purportedly issued on behalf of the campaign.
In an official notice released on Friday, October 10, 2026, by the Office of the Director of Publicity and Public Engagement, Ojo Bright I. Eniafe, the campaign said it has come to its attention that certain individuals have taken it upon themselves to issue statements purporting to speak for or act on behalf of the campaign.
The campaign said intelligence gathered indicates those actions are preparatory grounds to issue sinister statements in order to derail its issue-based and people-centric campaign.
It stated that the only authorised channel of official communication for the GRA4MHR Campaign is the Office of the Director of Publicity and Public Engagement, adding that no other individual, group or platform is empowered to issue statements, directives or positions in the name of the campaign.
While recognising the passion of supporters promoting the ideals of Making Owo-Ose Great Again (#MOOGA) and Putting Owo-Ose First (#POOF), the campaign said there is a feeble attempt designed to undermine the fabrics of decency it has upheld since inception.
Consequently, it declared that any statement, publication or communication not expressly approved and signed by the office, or by the APC candidate himself through verified official channels, is unauthorised, illegitimate and of no effect, advising the public to disregard such materials.
The campaign said the people of Owo-Ose Federal Constituency delivered a clear mandate to its candidate in the May 16 direct primary election, which was further sealed by the Court of Appeal’s 6–0 judgment, adding that it will not allow any individual or group to undermine the will of the people or the integrity of the campaign.
It reaffirmed its commitment to stand with the people and defend their mandate.
