Balami to Train 160 Youths in Aircraft Manufacturing as Part of His 40th Birthday Celebration

Issac Balami, former President of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE), has announced a significant initiative to commemorate his 40th birthday. Balami, through the Isaac Balami Foundation (IBF), will collaborate with his associates to provide aviation training to 160 young Nigerians.
In a press release to LEADERSHIP, Balami outlined that the training will cover various aviation fields and will be fully funded by the foundation. The program will include 40 slots each for Aircraft Manufacturing (covering Boeing, Airbus, and Embraer), Cabin Crew training, Flight Dispatchers, and Aircraft Planners.
Balami emphasized that the training will be free of charge, with successful candidates receiving full scholarships and certificates. He encouraged qualified individuals from all six geopolitical zones of Nigeria to apply.
In light of the current economic hardships in Nigeria, Balami has requested that any planned birthday celebrations be canceled. He believes that investing in the future of Nigerian youth is a more meaningful way to mark his birthday than hosting a party.
Balami explained that he has chosen to forgo personal celebrations to focus on supporting 160 young Nigerians, reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact in the aviation sector.
