I Don’t Use Cameras to Showcase Charity” — Osun APC Senate Aspirant KRAD Highlights Record of Public Service

Osogbo — Senatorial aspirant for Osun Central Senatorial District under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (SAN), popularly known as KRAD, has highlighted his record of public service, philanthropy, and community development as part of his vision for the district.

Speaking in a communiqué, the legal practitioner stated that he has consistently rendered assistance to people without seeking publicity.

“I don’t go around with cameras before helping people,” KRAD said, adding that his passion for defending the interests of ordinary citizens shaped much of his personal and academic journey.

According to him, his commitment to advocacy and social causes contributed to delays in completing his university education. He noted that he financed his education personally and remains deeply connected to Osogbo, which he described as his only home.

The APC senatorial hopeful further disclosed that he was honoured on June 21 by the University of Georgia in recognition of what he described as his contributions to humanity. He said the award followed an assessment of his records and humanitarian activities.

KRAD also revealed that he established a campaign office in 2017, which he said has remained accessible to members of the public. He added that plans are underway to provide cybersecurity training for residents as part of efforts to equip young people with relevant digital skills.

Highlighting some of his contributions to community development, he listed several initiatives undertaken across Osun communities, including his role in facilitating the establishment of an Air Force base in the state.

Reflecting on his academic experience, KRAD recounted that he was once expelled from the University of Ilorin but later returned to the institution to deliver a lecture, an achievement he said surprised many who were familiar with his earlier challenges.

The senior advocate maintained that his aspiration to represent Osun Central in the Senate is driven by a desire to expand opportunities for constituents and deepen development across the district.
