Beyond Politics: A Moment of Unity for Tinubu and Atiku

Many people tend to view President Bola Tinubu’s relationship with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar solely through the lens of their recent political rivalry during last year’s elections. However, their connection extends far beyond that bitter chapter.
Before the 2023 elections, Tinubu and Atiku were long-time friends and political allies. Recently, the tension took a back seat when the two leaders reunited at the wedding Fatiha of Senator Danjuma Goje’s daughter at the National Mosque in Abuja.
The atmosphere was filled with handshakes, laughter, and shared jokes, showcasing a camaraderie that transcends their political differences. Observing the interaction were APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, both of whom seemed to be enjoying a light-hearted moment. Their cheerful expressions highlighted that, in politics, rivalry doesn’t always have to overshadow friendship.
