BoT, NEC, and Stakeholders Rally Behind Nafiu Bala as Acting ADC National Chairman
In a decisive show of unity, the Board of Trustees (BoT), National Executive Committee (NEC), and other key stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) have officially endorsed Nafiu Bala as the party’s Acting National Chairman.
The endorsement came after a high-level meeting held at the party’s national secretariat, where members unanimously agreed that Bala possesses the experience, vision, and leadership qualities needed to steer the ADC during this crucial period.
Party elders and top executives praised Bala’s long-standing dedication to the ADC’s values, citing his history of grassroots mobilization, conflict resolution skills, and commitment to internal democracy. According to sources at the meeting, his appointment is aimed at fostering stability and unity within the party ahead of upcoming political engagements.
Speaking after the announcement, Bala expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to work tirelessly to consolidate the party’s structures nationwide.
“This is not about me; it’s about our shared vision for a stronger and more inclusive party. I will work with all stakeholders to ensure the ADC remains a credible alternative in Nigeria’s political space,” Bala stated.
Political observers believe the unanimous backing from both the BoT and NEC sends a strong signal of cohesion within the ADC, especially at a time when internal divisions have rocked several other political parties.
With Nafiu Bala at the helm, the ADC leadership has promised to intensify its outreach programs, strengthen alliances, and prepare the party for greater electoral c
ompetitiveness.
