Breaking: NLC and TUC Resolve to Continue Strike After Talks with Senate President and Others
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have confirmed their plan to initiate an indefinite strike starting Monday, June 3, 2024. This decision comes despite appeals from the National Assembly, led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, for a return to negotiations.
According to FIRST CLASS GISTS, labor leaders and a government delegation met on Sunday in a final attempt to prevent the strike, which is being called over the new minimum wage.
