BREAKING: Senate Lifts Suspension on Senator Abdul Ningi, who Accuse Senate for Budget Paddling
The Senate has lifted the three-month suspension of Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, who was previously suspended for accusing Senate President Godswill Akpabio of budget padding.
According to Politics Nigeria, Ningi’s suspension began on March 12, 2024. The process of his recall was set in motion by Deputy Minority Leader Abba Moro, who moved a motion expressing regret on behalf of the suspended senator.
In his motion, Moro accepted full responsibility for Ningi’s actions and emphasized the seriousness of the suspension.
