Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe’s journey to becoming a respected name in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry is a story of dedication, experience, and vision. Starting his career at Pfizer Nigeria in the pharmaceutical sector, Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe developed a strong foundation of discipline and professionalism. He later transitioned into banking, where he gained valuable financial insights before finding his true calling in the oil and gas industry.

In oil and gas, Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe(PhD) quickly rose through the ranks, working with leading companies such as Chevron Oil and Conoil. These roles gave him a deep understanding of the many challenges faced in oil production, refining, and distribution across Nigeria. He recognised early on the need for innovation to improve efficiency and reduce losses in the sector.

One of his significant achievements was introducing the use of Bulk Road Vehicles (BRVs) for oil discharge. This method replaced outdated practices, providing more accurate measurement and minimizing fuel wastage. The change not only improved transparency but also enhanced accountability in the sector. His expertise and forward-thinking approach earned him a place on the Federal Government’s committee on Aviation Fuel Pricing, where he helped shape key policies affecting Nigeria’s energy industry.

Now, as an aspirant for the Senate seat of Osun East, Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe aims to bring his wealth of experience to benefit his people. He envisions establishing oil and gas depots and encouraging the growth of oil and gas companies within Osun State. These initiatives, he believes, will boost the state’s revenue, create much-needed jobs, and stimulate economic development.

Because of his extensive background and network within the oil and gas sector, it will be easier for him to attract investment and partnerships to Osun State. His experience working with major industry players and the government means he understands what it takes to navigate regulatory processes, secure funding, and implement projects efficiently. Being in government will give him the platform to push these initiatives, remove bureaucratic barriers, and create policies that support industry growth in the state.

*Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe* sees the oil and gas sector not just as an industry but as a powerful tool for wealth creation. “Oil and gas is the investment that has created many billionaires such as Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Folorunso Alakija, Abdulsamad Rabiu, and others in Nigeria,” he says. By leveraging his experience, he is determined to unlock similar opportunities for Osun East, ensuring that the state shares in the prosperity that comes from this vital sector.

That is why he is seeking the support of the people, to win both the primary and general elections. With their mandate, he will have the authority and resources needed to deliver on these promises and bring tangible development to Osun East.

Support Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe for Senate. With his expertise and dedication, Osun East will take a bold step forward into a brighter, more prosperous future.
