A Lecturer of the Department of Theatre Arts, Benue State University, Dr Adoka Terkimbi has accused all the Benue State National Assembly Members of forgetting their promises to their people and calling the Governor of BENUE State, Fr Hyacinth Alia to order instead of focussing on their manifestosÂ

On Dr Adoka Terkimbi, Facebook wall, wrote below
Benue People have set up a Public Court of Order:
One Counsel has come up with his cross examination and preconceived? judgement.
“This is most heartrending. Even the one, who was corrected during self-introduction (the only time he spoke in the chamber) and never again till date has joined in the shame.Â
The people of Guma, Gwer-west, Agatu, Logo, Ukum and even Makurdi are yet to return to their ancestral homes. None of these warrant being raised as a matter of urgent attention. Our REPRESENTATHIEVES are busy wasting resources in the name of calling a governor of their state to order, which order?Â
What exactly has he done wrong to warrant this political outburst?
How do the things he is allegedly doing affecting the people of Benue?
Did the Governor seize their campaign manifestos and they have forgotten their respective promises to their people, to commence fulfilment?
Is this why many of them have not even return to their constituencies since they were elected yet?
How does this warrant abandoning their primary responsibilities to embark on unsolicited rescue mission?
What exactly do they want?
The earlier they are called to order (reminded of the imperative to fulfil their campaign promises) these horrible members of the National Assembly will push us backward than move forward.”
Them say, the National Assembly Members must appear to answer the charges.Â
Over to them!
