Davido’s Father: I Generate 15% Of The Electric Power Consumed By Nigeria

Dr. Deji Adeleke, the father of Nigerian music star Davido, has announced that he currently generates 15% of Nigeria’s total electricity consumption. He is also in the process of constructing the largest thermal power plant in the country, which is set to be inaugurated in January 2025.

Adeleke’s investment in the energy sector highlights his commitment to addressing Nigeria’s ongoing power supply challenges. By establishing this power plant, he aims to contribute significantly to the national grid and enhance electricity availability across the country. His initiative reflects a growing trend among private investors in Nigeria seeking to improve the country’s energy infrastructure and support economic development.
