Details of the Reasons NYF Praises President Tinubu for Revitalizing Northwest Security Efforts
In a statement released on Sunday, Alhaji Bagudu Mohammed Kudu, President of the Northern Youth Forum (NYF), expressed renewed optimism for the Northwest region. Kudu acknowledged the longstanding belief in the competence of the Armed Forces and their dedication but pointed out that a lack of political will had hindered progress against bandits.
He commended President Tinubu’s decision to deploy Matawalle and the service chiefs to the operational area, noting that this move has significantly addressed the previous shortcomings. Kudu highlighted that the Minister’s presence has invigorated the troops and provided strategic leadership, resulting in noticeable improvements in the operation.
With bandits, including the notorious Turji Bello, retreating in chaos, Kudu expressed pride and appreciation for the security forces’ efforts, underscoring the positive impact of the recent strategic changes.
