Drone Allegation Confirms Adeleke Government Is Bereft of Ideas, Has No Achievement to Campaign With — APC Campaign Council

The attention of the Osun State Governorship Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to the laughable, puerile and intellectually bankrupt statement issued by the Ademola Adeleke Campaign Council, calling on a member of our campaign to account for a purported and imaginary procurement of drones during the administration of Ọgbẹni Rauf Aregbesola. It is strange that such a phoney allegation is coming at almost four years into the administration of the dance-loving governor. Why has the government not probed the procurement if truly it detected fraud?
The reckless fabrication of 20 drones by the Adeleke Campaign Council is yet another confirmation that the current administration is completely bereft of ideas, achievements and coherent records with which to market its ineffective, underperforming and corruption-soaked government to the people of Osun State.
Having failed woefully in governance and unable to defend itself against the myriad of corruption allegations trailing the administration, the Adeleke government has now resorted to concocting phantom stories and infantile propaganda in a desperate bid to divert public attention from the monumental scandals rocking the government.
Expectedly, the Adeleke government has remained unable to answer critical questions posed by our campaign council and concerned members of the public regarding the detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of some senior officials of the government, including the Chief of Staff to Governor Adeleke, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, and the Accountant-General of the state, Mr Rasheed Olalere Alabi, over the alleged diversion of the N2 billion Federal Government grant meant for the procurement of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and modern buses in 2023.
The government has also failed to provide satisfactory explanations regarding the alleged mismanagement of the N11.9 billion ecological and financial intervention support from the Federal Government in 2025, the personnel payroll fraud uncovered by Sally Tibbot Consulting Limited, where it was reportedly established that about N13.5 billion has been paid annually to ghost workers since 2023 under the Adeleke administration, as well as the questionable management of close to N100 billion accruing to the local governments in the state.
Governor Ademola Adeleke is clearly a failure who has nothing tangible to campaign with. This explains why his handlers are busy manufacturing vacuous and baseless tales in a futile attempt to save face before the people of Osun State over mismanagement over N1 trillion.
No phantom 20-drone story will distract the good people of Osun from demanding answers from the leprous administration of Governor Adeleke over the whereabouts of the satellite equipment his government claimed to have purchased for nearly N1 billion in 2023, as well as the management of the staggering N14.9 billion security votes accessed by the administration without any motocycle or operational vehicle to show for it.
Osun people are politically conscious, discerning and forward-looking. The latest propaganda and diversionary antics of the Adeleke government cannot sway them, as they are already excited by the transformative 7-Point Prosperity Agenda of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), which is designed to domesticate and implement the 2023 Electricity act, provide affordable housing for civil servants and residents, construct world-class infrastructure, and make quality healthcare and education accessible to all.
